The Social Impact Assessment is a remote tool that companies can use to measure the effectiveness of their management systems, safeguarding worker well-being and workplace conditions.
It is a non-category-specific self-assessment designed to verify a supplier’s capability to manage labor standards in their facility or in their supply chain. Social Impact Assessment program includes separate assessments for your direct manufacturers and both indirect/direct vendors.
This low-cost program consists of a self-assessment questionnaire and an independent evaluation call with an IETP assessor. Following this, the supplier will receive a verified score from IETP and a tailored corrective action plan.
The program offers two types of Assessment; for Direct Manufacturers; & for Licensees, Vendors, Agents. Please see below for more information on both types of Assessments:

Our Migrant Parent Training Program helps workers build stronger relationships with their left-behind children. The training workshops provide practical tools to lessen the burden of workers’ separation from their children, helping parents come to terms with the separation from their children, educating parents on how to provide support for their children and how to handle conflict remotely and giving practical guidance on communications skills supplemented with tools and activities to strengthen the parent-child bond.
Family-Friendly Spaces reunite domestic migrant workers with their children in the summer months, by creating safe, secure, and well-equipped childcare facilities at factories for children to learn and play while their parents focus on work. After-School Centers are an all year round childcare solution for working parents. Similarly to our Family-Friedly Spaces program, these centers are safe, secure, and well-equipped childcare facilities at factories for children to learn and play while their parents focus on work.

These training courses focus on building factory knowledge and capability on responsible sourcing, supporting factories to make improvements, and helping them to get the most from the Ethical Toy Program. Through our certification program and social impact assessments, we can identify and tailor training programs to meet your suppliers' specific needs.
IETP has developed an Environmental Questionnaire for suppliers, to give Buyers greater oversight into the environmental impact and practices of their Suppliers. The Questionnaire covers a broad range of environmental areas and can be used as a stand-alone program or integrated into a Buyer's existing Environmental initiative.
The Assessment covers a broad range of environmental areas and requires suppliers to provide relevant permits & certificates. At a cost of only $350 USD, it is an inexpensive and efficient environmental oversight solution.
